Undernutrition in UK care homes is on the rise

Undernutrition among elderly care home residents is a growing concern in the UK, leading to increased health risks, reduced quality of life, and higher care costs. Without proper nutritional care and monitoring, residents are at greater risk of hospitalisations and complications.

Enrolling on our BDA-approved online training courses equips your care home staff with the latest knowledge and best practices to effectively manage undernutrition and dysphagia.

Our Catering Course Bundle provides access to all 6 of our flagship courses for one single price.

Are your staff trained to CQC national standards?

Don't let a lack of training put your residents' health, and your business, at risk.

Improved Resident Health Outcomes

With specialised training, staff can better identify early signs of undernutrition and dysphagia, leading to timely interventions that significantly improve residents' health outcomes, reduce hospital admissions, and enhance overall quality of life.

Streamlined CQC Compliance

BDA-approved training ensures that care homes meet CQC requirements for nutritional care, helping to achieve positive inspection results and avoid potential penalties. This training also keeps staff aligned with the latest national guidelines.

Tailored Care for Complex Needs

Our training provides staff with practical strategies and tools to manage the complexities of dysphagia. By understanding how to assess dietary needs, staff can prevent complications and ensure safe, enjoyable mealtimes.

I have called upon Rachael’s wealth of knowledge many times. I have a far better understanding of nutrition and hydration, particularly for those within a healthcare environment. Having received nothing but praise for the product, I feel that much of the success of the brand is due to the invaluable help & advice tendered by Rachael.
